EFFECT OF TIME AND INCUBATION TEMPERATURE ON ABILITY OF PROBIOTICS FOR REMOVAL OF POLYCYCLIC AROMATIC HYDROCARBON IN PHOSPHATE BUFFER SALINE

The ability of Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5, Bifidobacterium lactis BB-12, delbrueckii subsp. bulgaricus PTCC 1737 and Streptococcus thermophilus 1738 in removing Benzo(a)pyrene (BaP), Benz(a)anthracene (BaA), Chrysene (Chr) Benzo(b)fluoranthene (BbF) from contaminated aqueous solution with respect to strain types, time temperature incubation was studied. results showed that BaA, Chr, BbF BaP could be significantly removed the phosphate buffer saline by tested bacteria this reduction depends on types time. four PAHs varied range 50.94% 74.51%, 54.48% 77.98%, 47.35% 68.84%, 61.96% 81.22% for BaP, respectively. illustrated increasing incubation, binding ratio increased highest achieved L.
